Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
Attractively scented, ruby hued Martinborough red with moderately rich cherry, plum and spice flavours, some savoury, nutty notes adding complexity, and ripe, balanced tannins. Best drinking 2014+.

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage estate-grown and hand-picked in Martin borough, was matured for 11 months in French oak barrels (25 per cent new). Rich and smooth-flowing, it is full-coloured and invitingly fragrant. Already delicious, it offers good concentration of very ripe cherry/plum flavours, with hints of liquorice and spices, and finely integrated oak.

The third vintage of this brilliant new pinot is a dynamic and aromatic estate grown wine. Sleek and glamorous with enticing violets, wild cherry and a whisp of bacon. Excellent integration, silky tannins and plenty of flavour.
