James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Pale straw-green when 6 year old-extraordinary; a wine of exceptional finesse, line, length and balance. There is no thought of the wine becoming frozen in time; it will continue to develop, becoming more complex as honey, toast and lemon curd flavorus intensify.
Australian Wine Companion 2014 Edition 2013
Ralph Kyte-Powell (2007 Vintage) says
Lemon and mandarin aromas have suggestions of almond biscotti and lanolin. Vibrant with a plump middle palate, great length and presence, finishing with a savoury tang. (Screw cap; 11.5 per cent alcohol.) Ageing? Drink over eight years. Food ideas: Grilled prawns.

Winestate Special Edition 2012
Tyson Stelzer (2006 Vintage) says
A semillon of profound length, driving with considerable concentration and undeviating line into a very long finish. There’s great purity of lemon and lime fruit, with notes of lemon grass, slowly building roast nut complexity. The acidity is softly integrated, making for great drinking right now, and endurance to hold for some years yet
Wine Taste Edition 102 2013
James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Has an extra tang and cut to will slowly become more evident as the wine continues its development through to 2020 and beyond.
Australian Wine Companion 2014 Edition 2013
James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Still pale quartz-green; extraordinarily fresh and lively, with fragrant lemon and lemon zest aromas and flavours, the acidity perfectly balanced, the finish lingering for an eternity. Why this should all be drunk in the next five years (as the label suggests) I don't know - and don't agree.
