Ray Jordan (2012 Vintage) says
Distinctive character of sauvignon blanc. It's been picked nice and early in this warm year to retain the fruit and acid balance. Not the pungent style of NZ but still with stacks of fruit intensity. Appealing fruit driven style with a tight focussed and long finish.

The aromatic whites from this small producer have been very good over the years. This one sits tightly in that impressive groove with its fresh lively aromas of gooseberry and lime zest and palate if fine persistent tightly held herbal fruit. Nice lighter style wine with a decent kick in the tail.

Stacks of vibrant tropical fruit with a light herbaceous dusting overlaying some very nice fruit. The minerally herbal palate with its gentle squeeze of lime juice carries to a very long finish. Has a lovely varietal purity that is the hall mark of this vintage.

Clean, crisp, light aromas are joined by a touch of gooseberry on the palate; nice feel, balance and length.
