Ray Jordan (2011 Vintage) says
Excellent wine from an excellent vintage Loads of dark savoury plum and blackcurrant aromas with a liberal amount of dark chocolate. The palate is so dense and rich with a lavish plush feel. The tannin and oak balance is spot on and the flavour powers along to a very long finish. Beautiful sweet and seductive fruit flavours.

Another ripping good shiraz from these guys who are making a habit of it. Plummy savoury vanillin perfume on the nose with a little sprinkling of spices. The palate is warm and generous. Oak is still just a little evident at the moment but this will all come together to produce something special.

WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Fruity nose with delicate floral lift, leading to a very young, almost porty, palate.

Cracking good wine, this. Bouquet of violets and cherry plum with a spicy slightly peppery overlay. Beautifully seductive, silky smooth palate with fine ripe tannins and a sustained finish. Plenty of palate weight and fruit concentration. A beauty.

WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Smells of plums, cassis and blackstrap molasses, with a mouthful of sweet plum fruit and crisp acid.

James Halliday (2000 Vintage) says
Dense red-purple; a rich, concentrated bouquet with black plum and dark berry fruit aromas is followed by a very concentrated and youthful palate; however, the wine is not callow or undermade, and should handsomely repay patience.
