Brown Brothers Graciano

Cracka Review

This latest release boasts an intense garnet red colour and delicious aromas of blackcurrent, dried herbs, tobacco and spice.

The palate is rich, ripe and full of berry flavours with the trademark peppery character typical to this varietal. The wine was aged in old French oak, allowing the natural fruit characters to express themselves.

Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
A medium-bodied red made from this native Spanish grape, most famously a lynchpin of rioja wines. It's fragrant here and carries sweet ripe cherry aromas, very primary. The palate's fine tannins are superb, as is the cassis and cherry fruit - kicks with a warming alcohol-driven finish.
