Cracka Review

Here we have a dryer, lower alcohol (11.5%) prosecco that would be great as a party starter with some tempura prawn nibblies. Scents of Granny Smith apples, green pears, roast nuts and lemons rise from the glass, whilst the palate is light and racy, with just a kiss of sweetness upfront before the citrusy acidity and spritziness rushes in to cleanse the palate leading to a dry-ish, bright finish.

Winemaker's Notes

The 2013 Prosecco is so fresh and crisp that it is a great drink on its own to kick off an evening.

Appearance: The colour is bright and vibrant with a youthful green hue.

Nose: The nose shows lifted granny smith apple and pear notes along with a citrus undertone.

Food: However, this wine’s attractive flavours would make it a suitable partner to lightly fried calamari with a lemon and herb dressing. Try Prosecco with oysters and prawns or a lightly battered piece of whiting.

Cellaring: The wine’s tight natural acidity from the cool climate fruit make it perfect for drinking young while at its light and delicate best.

Alcohol: 11.5%
