Brown Brothers Moscato Rose Gold

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

If you are feeling in the pink, then this fun and fruity moscato from Brown Brothers is bound to compliment your mood. Sweet red fruits and rosewater rise from the glass, along with a hint of musk florals. The palate is light, slightly sweet and spritzy, with a lick of soft spice, refreshing acidity and a bright, more-ish finish. Chill and enjoy!

Winemaker's Notes

The 2014 Moscato Rose Gold is the first release of our ultra-premium Moscato Rose wine. Brown Brothers commitment to Muscat goes back to our first vintage in 1889 and we have been making Moscato since 1996. This release takes the style to a new level of class and distinction.

Palate: These characters follow through to the palate along with a fruitiness that is balanced by fresh acidity and spritz. The wine has a heightened level of bubble compared to the Moscato Rosa giving it a lovely refreshing finish.

Food: The Moscato Rose Gold is light and fresh enough to be a great aperitif. With food, Moscato Rose Gold if perfect with homemade Turkish delight infused vanilla pod ice cream. For something savoury try a fiery rogan josh curry.

Cellaring: Serve well chilled and enjoy while young and vibrant.
