There was a time when the Browns of Padthaway reds were very good, but very heavy with oak. Judging by the latest releases, those days of excess oak are over. This is mulberried, leathery and full of fresh berry flavour, the extra couple of years in bottle softening it beautifully. It drinks like a charm and should be sought out (and after). Wonderful red drinking.
