Buller Black Dog Creek Chardonnay

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Remember those big old-fashioned Chardonnays – big, creamy, so full of fruit that they needed a whopping juicy steak to match. Well no such problems here with this wine from Bullers. A much more refreshing style, just a supremely elegant drink with subtle peachy flavours finishing fresh and fine - pure and uncomplicated drinking.

Winemaker's Notes

Colour: Pale Gold.

Aroma: Restrained peach aromas with a hint of pineapple.

Palate: Flavours of white peach, nectarine and a touch of pineapple. Some lime acidity and underlying yeast lees character. Fresh crisp finish.

Some reduction on the bouquet, but the palate has peachy varietal fruit with a hint of sweetness.

Fragrant smoky oak mingling with peaches and melon-like fruit. Very flavoursome. Chablis like.
