Burnbrae Pinot Gris

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Get a taste of NSW with this pinot gris out of Mudgee. It's a really satisfying drink that shows pears, apples and nutty almonds on the nose, whilst the palate is smooth and friendly, with juicy pear flavours, friendly acidity, and a soft, fruity finish. It's guaranteed to please a crowd, and would be great with some Thai fishcakes.

Winemaker's Notes

Needing a cooler climate to flourish, the fruit for this wine is sourced from the Orange and Central Ranges regions of NSW. Pear and stone fruit characters greet the nose. This wine is fragrant and fleshy showing subtle spice on the palate.

Light straw-green; some musk and honeysuckle aromas are attractive, and the palate does not disappoint. Amazing how the cool, wet vintage has assisted white wines.
