Expert Reviews

WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Rich, medium style from a single vineyard, just south of the township. Concentrated, ripe flavours of peaches, pears and spices in a full-bodied, finely textured Alsace style with lovely mouthfeel and immediacy.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Generous, rich, ripe, apple-like aromas and good concentration of sweet varietal flavours.
Winestate 2010
Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
Grown in Martinborough, the 2004 vintage is mouthfilling and peachy, slightly limey and honeyed, with very good flavour depth. The pale-straw 2005 has no region of origin on the label, but was also grown in Martinborough. Delicious in its youth, it is weighty and smooth in a fleshy, freshly aromatic, medium-dry style (6 grams/litre of residual sugar), with peachy, spicy flavours showing excellent depth and harmony.
