Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The 2010 vintage was hand-picked at nearly 26 brix, and fermented and lees-aged in seasoned French oak barriques. Sturdy, with a floral, delicate bouquet, it is very full-bodied (15 per cent alcohol), with good depth of pear and spice flavours, a touch of barrel-ferment complexity and a smooth (4 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Already highly enjoyable, the 2008 vintage was hand-picked at over 25 brix and the fermentation was finished in seasoned French oak barriques. Fleshy and vibrantly fruity, it's a mouthfilling wine (14.5 per cent alcohol), with rich stone-fruit flavours, a slightly oily texture and a smooth, dryish finish.
