Michael Cooper (1996 Vintage) says
In the past labelled as Roy's Hill White, this tangy dry white is grown in Gimblett: Road, Hawke's Bay. Maturing very gracefully, the 1996 vintage is a tightly structured and clearly varietal wine, made in a dry style. Light lemon-green, it's not a lush style, but offers very clean, delicate lemon/apple flavours, lively acidity and a persistent, flinty finish. Ready; no rush.
