James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; obvious, slightly sawdusty, barrel-ferment oak comes through strongly on the bouquet; on the palate the fruit struggles to keep up with the oak, escaping at the very end to allow its ripe citrussy flavours to appear.

James Halliday (1995 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; a tangy bouquet with a faintly herbal/citrus edge to the fruit and subtle but well integrated oak. The palate delivers more of the same, with lively, tangy citrus-accented fruit, subtle oak and a long finish.
