Campbell's Classic Muscat

Winemaker's Notes

Deep amber with tawny hues. Rich fresh raisin fruit aromas with great depth and showing some rancio characters.

Great power and intense fruit with balance and elegance. There is evidence of mellow oak with the luscious lingering finish. Excellent with vintage cheddar or blue vein cheeses, dried fruit and fresh nuts or as a memorable end to a meal with freshly brewed coffee.

James Halliday says
Spicy /raisiny complexity starting to build; in typical Campbells style, lively, clearly articulated, with good balance and length.

Tyson Stelzer says
Layered with rich, luscious, primary fruits of oranges and raisins, backed by the complexity of roast nuts, this is a concentrated wine with just the right acid profile to keep it bright.
Nick Stock says
A handy introduction to the delights of Rutherglen Muscat, this is a floral and fragrant younger style with neatly tuned fortification that lifts the varietal character, rather than obscuring it. Exotic and fresh on the nose; the palate s smooth and fresh, with bright musk and grape flavour.
