Cannibal Creek Hardiker Pinot Noir

Out of Stock

Cracka Review

Pinot noir demands much of both vine grower and wine maker, at its best it is considered to be one the finest wines of all . Pinot noir is most successfully grown in cool climates and the Hardiker plot is perfectly situated to achieve outstanding results. The Hardiker fruit is estate grown, picked at the same time and made the same way as the cannibal creek in French oak barriques. Through the process of assemblage we select the best barrels for the cannibal creek range and the rest goes into the excellent value Hardiker Range.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Quite pale in colour, but clearly varietal, and surprisingly firm on the finish.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Light- to medium-bodied; cherry and plum, with attractive touches of forest floor and spice; long and supple. Gold medal Gippsland Wine Show '07. Bargain.
