Canterbury House Waipara Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
Estate-grown, this is one of Canterbury House's major successes - Sauvignon Blanc suits the company's cool grape-growing climate and warm, shingly soils. In most years it is fresh and pungently aromatic, with excellent depth of lively, crisply herbaceous flavour. The 2004 vintage has fresh, nettley aromas leading into a fruity and lively wine with fresh, strong flavours of melons and capsicums.

The 2003 vintage is an intensely varietal wine with nettley aromas and crisp, punchy flavours of passionfruit and lime, notably fresh and zingy. The 2004 is also very aromatic, intense and nettley.
