Cape Grace Chenin Blanc

Cracka Review

Beautifully fragrant tropical fruit aromas, lovely texture, flavours of passionfruit and pineapple, with a long, fine crisp finish. The Cape Grace Chenin Blanc is made in a dryer style compared to other West Australian Chenin Blanc wines.

A lovely easy drinking wine. Great with fish, chicken and spicy Asian dishes.

Real fruit bomb showing the tropical characters of this variety to full effect. Stacks of passionfruit with some crunchy lively acidity sustaining a pleasant almost delicate palate. Has a racy vibrancy that carries through to the finish.

It's interesting that these guys have decided to have this variety in their portfolio. Still it appears to be working well for them, producing a simple fruity well priced wine. This has terrific mouth feel and focus with wonderful fruit flavours. Love the passionfruit flavours

Light straw-green; the bouquet is clean, quite crisp but relatively neutral, but the palate picks up flavour, intensity, and - in particular - length. The fruit flavours are in the tropical spectrum; all in all, far better than the usual bland offerings of this variety.
