Cape Naturaliste Cabernet Sauvignon

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

One look at the colour of this and you know you are drinking good wine, such is its depth. Lovely balance of red and blackcurrant fruit, not too big and bold as is the way of wines from the Margaret River. Really quite delicious drinking.

Winemaker's Notes

A medium bodied easy drinking cabernet, full of blackberries, toffee & licorice, cigar box and poached plums – and that’s just the nose. Plums follow through to the palate with a velvet smooth initial mouth feel which tappers off through to the rear palate.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Good purple-red; lively and bright cabernet varietal expression on the bouquet and light- to medium-bodied palate; a mysterious tribute to 'the tropical flavours of this most enjoyable wine' on the back label.
