Cape Naturaliste Shiraz

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

2007 is a brilliant year in Margaret River as shown by this big, brooding Shiraz. Quite ripe and plush fruit but still giving that regional spiciness, it is a wine to savour.

Winemaker's Notes

A medium bodied easy drinking red, it is savory with soft chalky tannins and enticing pinches of zippy orange peel, cloves, curry leaf, fennel and exotic spices. Spicy plums dominate the palate.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Bright crimson; red and black fruit aromas, along with a sprinkling of spice, are repeated on the medium-bodied palate, underpinned by savoury tannins.
