Chain of Ponds Novello Rose

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Chain of Ponds are one of the quiet achievers of the Adelaide Hills region but this Rosé is far from just achieving, it literally kicks goals. From the moment it comes out of the fridge, blushing pink and dripping in condensation you’ll be left mouthwatering and desperate to pour a glass of pink perfection. It’s full of berry goodness showing strawberry and musk before a refreshing palate, that’s a touch sweet but with a texture and flavour of strawberries and cream.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Vibrant pink with highlighted hues of salmon pink.

Nose: Lifted aromas of strawberries and cream and rose petals with a hint of musk and cherry blossom. Subtle nuances of candied raspberry with a hint of vanilla.

Palate: Lively fresh fruits of ripe red berries fill the palate with hints of both fresh and candy strawberries and cream. Balanced mouth watering acidity and a gentle refreshing sweetness give a pleasant finish to the wine with great length and persistence of fresh fruit. A perfect accompaniment to a warm spring/summer’s day or afternoon with friends.

Pale fuchsia-pink; a delicately fragrant bouquet of cherry and raspberry, then a well-balanced palate. Sangiovese.
