Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
There s a lick of toasty, mocha-scented oak across the nose of this Pisa Range_sourced pinot noir, plenty of mulberry and red cherry here too. The palate s brawny and has tangy fruit, slightly tart, toasted spices and slightly chewy tannins to close.Good Wine Guide 2013

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
A Lowburn/Pisa wine that's full of immediate charm and attractive fruit character, with bright red- and dark-cherry fruit leading the way, some gentle complexing spice and berry pastry. The palate's lightly framed in tannin, with bright red-fruit flavour, strawberry and cherry, handy balance and an approachable lightness. The Good Wine Guide 2012

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Grown at Pisa, in Central Otago, the ruby-hued 2008 vintage has ripe, sweet-fruit characters, good depth of cherry and spice flavours, light tannins and some savoury complexity.Buyer's Guide to New Zealand Wines
