The blend is approximately 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. The wine is a deep garnet colour with purple hues. The bouquet is complex with aromas of rich, ripe fruit, spice and herbs. The palate is full with a range of lingering berry flavours. The wine has excellent balance with a long, firm, fine tannin finish. This is a rich complex wine with flavours well integrated from 18 months maturation in a combination of new and old French oak barrels. This wine is an ideal accompaniment to game and red meat dishes.
