Chateau du Grand Puch Bordeaux

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

If you haven’t dipped your toe into the Bordeaux wine waters yet, this is a great place to start at a very reasonable price. Made from a blend of merlot, cab sav and cab franc, it's a highly approachable, medium to fuller-bodied wine that shows lots of plums, raspberries and licorice on the nose, whilst the palate is quite smooth and fruity, with sweet plummy flavours, slinky tannins and a decent spiced fruit finish. It's very modern in style and would go down well with a juicy Wagyu burger.
