James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Good colour; has been well made, blackberry and plum fruit to the fore, French oak in the background; good balance.

Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
A stylish lively medium-bodied red very much in the Chidlow's style of the past few years. Bouquet of light cherry and vanillin oak with a liberal sprinkling of spices and light pepper. Has a seamless smooth texture with fine tannin and nicely applied oak. Good short-term wine.

A vibrant medium-bodied wine delivering with a fine silky texture. Lifted notes of cherry and vanillin oak and a palate that displays some beautiful fine tannins. An easy drinking red for the short term.

A bold, rich and well-integrated wine with nice lingering, spicy fruit aromas and flavours.

What a super value wine this is. Plenty of rich chunky shiraz with heaps of chocolate, bark black berry and substantial vanillin oak. It all comes together nicely with a rich plush palate and oodles of flavour. Nice wine
