Church Road Central Otago Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Pernod Ricard NZ's decision to extend the Church Road brand - indivisibly associated with Hawke's Bay - to Central Otago, is a surprise, but in the past, Marlborough has sometimes made a key contribution to the Sauvignon Blanc. The debut 2009 vintage was grown mostly at Bendigo and matured for nine months in French oak casks (27 per cent new). Ruby-hued, mouthfilling and supple, it is savoury and complex, with cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, finely textured and harmonious. It's already drinking well.
