Church Road Cuve Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Grown 300 metres above sea level in Pernod Ricard NZ's cool, inland site at Matapiro, the debut 2007 vintage was harvested at 23.8 to 24.5 brix and lees-aged for 10 months. Fleshy and soft, it is concentrated, peachy and slightly spicy, with gentle sweetness (7 grams/litre of residual sugar) and good texture. The very forward 2008 is richly scented but slightly flabby, with strong, peachy, spicy flavours and a slightly sweet, soft finish.
