Church Road Reserve Hawke's Bay Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
Fleshy, rich and complex, the deeply satisfying 2010 vintage is an outstanding example of wood-aged Sauvignon Blanc, in the mould of white Bordeaux. Estate-grown, mostly in the Redstone Vineyard, in The Triangle, and fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak barriques (30 per cent new), it's a powerful, very full-bodied wine with concentrated, ripe stone-fruit flavours, integrated oak, and a long, slightly creamy finish. Best drinking mid-2012+.
