Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
This is a product that closely aligns with the vintage in Margaret RUver. It is quite firm with ripe tannins and some quality fine grained oak in support. Has to be one of the best value wines under $20. It's a classy Cabernet with control and focus and an underlying power you don;t normally get in this price point.

Nick Stock (2007 Vintage) says
Certainly at the riper end of the spectrum, this cabernet has plenty of flavour, and forthright cassis berry fruit rules the roost in every respect, some gently leafy nuances filing in behind. The palate has an open and approachable feel, nothing complicated, just loads of sweet, ripe blackcurrant flavour and juicy, lively tannins. Terrific value, with a strong feel of regionality

Typical Margaret River leafy fresh cabernet on the nose with touches of black olive and black currant. The medium to full bodied palate carries good weight and flavour with a nice fruit oak balance supported with ripe tannins. Great value.

Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2007 Vintage) says
These Churchview cabernets from 2007 are full of mouth-puckering tannin - if you don't like that in a red, look elsewhere. Fortunately we're fans. It also displays classic Margaret River smells with fragrant gumleaf, gravel, ripe blackcurrant and berry. Heaps of ripe fruit , savoury tobacco and olive flavours. Alcohol warmth is a minor but not unpleasant distraction. Plenty of length and plenty of value as long as you don't mind a bit of grip.
