Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
The 2007 vintage was estate-grown in the upper teaches of the Omaka Valley and matured in French oak casks (45 per cent new). It's a powerful, savoury wine, but green-edged, with plenty of body and spicy, slightly leafy flavour.

Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
The generous 2006 vintage was grown on the upper slopes of the Clayridge Home Block, ar the top of the Omaka Valley, and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (33 per cent new). Bright ruby, it has good density of plum and spice flavours, showing impressive ripeness and complexity, and substantial body.
