A 'fun, friendly wine, made in a serious way', the 2006 vintage was based on 18 rows of estate-grown Pinot Noir, devoted to rose production, and mostly handled in tanks (80 per cent); the rest was fermented with indigenous yeasts in one-year-old barrels. Bright pink, with a spicy bouquet, it is crisp, vibrant and fruity, with a sliver of sweetness (4.9 grams/litre of residual sugar) amid its plummy, berryish flavours, which show good freshness and vivacity.
