Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
From a Hawke's Bay winery, the 2008 vintage is a fleshy, rich, regional blend of Central Otago, Waiaiapa and Waipara grapes, barrel-aged for 15 months. Ruby-hued, it has substantial body, ripe, cherryish, spicy flavours, hints of herbs and liquorice, and a fairly firm finish. Drink now or cellar.

From a Hawke's Bay winery, the powerful 2007 vintage is an intriguing regional blend of Wairarapa, Waipara and Central Otago grapes, matured for 15 months in French oak barriques (one-third new). Deep and fairly youthful in colour, it is finely scented, with mouthfilling body, sweet-fruit delights, and a strong surge of plum, cherry and spice flavours. Very savoury, with a hint of dark chocolate, excellent complexity and richness, it's drinking superbly right now.
