Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Handled in seasoned French oak barrels and tanks, the 2009 vintage is full-bodied and vibrant, with strong, fresh pear and spice flavours, good complexity and harmony, and a well-rounded, dryish (5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage was handled in a mix of tanks (30 per cent) and seasoned French oak barrels (70 per cent). Mouthfilling and smooth, with pear, spice and lychee aromas and flavours, it's a moderately concentrated wine, off-dry (5.3 grams/litre of residual sugar) with a touch of complexity, good texture and length.
