Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
This has a bright and youthful nose with a little candied lime peel, spiced apple puree, lovely fragrance here. The palate s flavoursome and juicy, showing a fleshy, generous texture, heading to lime and grapefruit marmalade flavour through the finish.

WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Drinking well now but likely to be very long-lived, this Marlborough wine is a medium-dry style with a youthful, lemon/green hue. Citrusy, spicy, minerally and toasty, it's tightly structured, with firm acid spine and excellent intensity.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
Released at over four years old, the 2006 vintage was grown in the Wairau Valley of Marlborough, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for six months in old French oak barrels. Still youthful in colour, it is medium to full-bodied, with penetrating grapefruit and spice flavours, minerally and toasty, a sliver of sweetness (8 grams/litre of residual sugar) and good acid spine. Showing good, bottle-aged complexity, it is likely to be long-lived

Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
Released at over four years old, the 2005 vintage was grown in Marlborough and fermented with indigenous yeasts in old French oak barrels. Light yellow/green, it is highly scented, with the minerally, toasty notes of classic bottle-aged Riesling. Poised and tight, with rich grapefruit, lime and spice flavours, an unobtrusive splash of sweetness (5.4 grams/litre of residual sugar) and good acid spine, it shows good complexity and lovely harmony. Drink now or cellar.
