Clyde Park Rose

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

This is a great little Rose if you are thinking of popping down to your local Thai restaurant tonight. It's light, soft and juicy with smells and flavours of sweet strawberries, lemons and soft spice, all wrapped up in a touch of sweetness, a nice rounded mouthfeel, and a relatively dry finish. Order up that chilli pork dish!

Winemaker's Notes

The 2011 Rose' was made from a blend of 5 varieties which include Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Viognier and Pinot Noir. Fermentation took place in stainless steel over 4 weeks using neutral yeasts. The wine was racked and blended post fermentation then prepared for early bottling to retain freshness.

Appearance: Salmon Red

Nose: Very fresh fruity nose with subtle hints of citrus, spice and red fruits .

Palate: Delightfully fresh aromatic flavours persist on the palate. Well balanced with a rounded complex palate balanced by some very fine teasing tannin, with a hint of sweetness evident, yet finishing with cleansing acidity.

Food: Salads, dips, breads.

Alcohol: 12%
