Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
Classy, single-vineyard Gibbston red, matured for a year in French oak barriques (40% per cent new). Floral, vibrantly fruity and supple, with deep, youthful plum, spice and dried herb flavours, fine-grained tannins, and excellent complexity and harmony.

WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Very seductive, generous, single-vineyard wine from Gibbston grapes. Floral and deeply coloured, with notably concentrated plum, herb and olive flavours, gentle tannins and a deliciously rich, smooth finish. Drink now or cellar.
