Cockatoo Ridge Shiraz

Cracka Review

Deep brick in colour. Soft, earthy chocolate nose with a hint of new oak. Long elegant spicy fruit with a hint of liquorice and soft oak flavours. A warm Barossa Shiraz that finishes round and classy.

WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Soft, simple quaffer that is more of an oak-driven style but its very flavoursome.

Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2002 Vintage) says
We found that this was another case where the wine needed a good swirl to clean up the nose. It is light- to medium-bodied with ripe redcurrant and red cherry flavours and a pleasant, easy finish.
