WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Smells of butterscotch and has lovely crisp, green apple flavours and fine acidity.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
Nice, fine bead and a green-tinged colour in the glass; this has some impressive brightness and verve on the nose, with gently spiced stone fruit and lemon aromas, and some grilled hazelnut building in the background. The palate's clean and crisp, really quite elegant and smoothly textured, holding a line of yeasty lemon citrus flavour with elegance and poise.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Fresh green apple bouquet, with pear, lemon and brioche providing support; the palate is lively and focused, a rich, creamy entry giving way to a dry, slightly chalky finish; lovely persistence to conclude. Two gold, two silver medals.

WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Pale straw colour, lemony nose, good bead and bright, fresh, fruity palate with some buttery notes.
Winestate 2009
James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
An elegant style with balance and length; the palate exhibits pinot perfume and structure with fine lemony chardonnay acidity; yeast autolysis characters of brioche and dry biscuits give the wine additional complexity. A multi-trophy and gold medal winner.
Australian Wine Companion 2010 2009
James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Attractive toasty, bready notes with underlying lemon and yeast autolysis characters; youthful lemony chardonnay flavours on the palate, with textural support from the pinot; crisp and balanced finish, with fine acidity and length.
Australian Wine Companion 2009 2008
James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Rich, complex, bready and berry fruit aromas. Well-balanced; fruit flavours ranging from ripe pear to citrus.
Australian Wine Companion 2006 2005
James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green, with good mousse; intense citrus fruit on the bouquet with touches of bready/yeasty character from the 4 years on lees prior to disgorgement. The wine has abundant flavour while retaining finesse, likewise has good balance.
