Buyer's Guide to New Zealand Wines
Michael Cooper (1999 Vintage) says
This is one of Coopers Creek's biggest-selling wines. Finely balanced for early appeal, the 1998 is a fresh and exuberantly fruity wine, tank-fermented and matured for three months in American oak. Mouthfilling, it's a straightforward style with good weight and depth of ripe tropical fruit flavours and a rounded finish. The 1999 is a fragrant, crisp wine with fresh, ripe fruit characters in a simple, drink-young style.
