Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2008 Vintage) says
This heads into lower-priced territory and offers a low-risk foray into the world of pinot noir. Gently peppery mixed berry fruits on the nose, quite light and fragrant. The palate's built on musky cherry/berry flavour, tannins are gentle and flavour stretches nicely throughout. Very approachable. Dan Murphy exclusive.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The affordably priced 2002 vintage is a blend of Hawke's Bay (60 per cent) and Marlborough grapes, intended as an 'easy drinking, fruit-driven style'. Light/medium ruby, with decent depth of ripe raspberry and spice flavours and gentle tannins, it's a clearly varietal wine, immediately appealing.
