The superbly rich 1996 vintage was Coopers Creek's first Riesling under a reserve label - and it fully deserved the status. Harvested at a very ripe 24 brix, the 1998 is a mouthfilling, quite forward wine, already delicious. Juicy, with a distinct dollop of sweetness (it was stop-fermented at 18 grams/litre), it's a fresh, ripely flavoured wine with rich, vibrant lemon/lime characters and a crisp, sustained finish.
