Coopers Creek Reserve Marlborough Late Harvest Riesling

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage was made from heavily botrytised grapes, grown at the mouth of the Omaka Valley. It's a youthful, finely poised wine, light (8.5 per cent alcohol), with rich, ripe, lemony, honeyed flavours, a hint of sherbet, plentiful sweetness (200 grams/litre of residual sugar) and good potential. Priced sharply.

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The 2004 vintage is an elegant late-harvest style. Grown in the Wairau Valley, picked at 30 brix and stop-fermented with 8.5 per cent alcohol and 140 grams per litre of residual sugar, it is light and crisp, with good intensify of ripe, citrusy, appley, gently honeyed flavours.
