Michael Cooper (2012 Vintage) says
Estate-grown at Havelock North and barrel-fermented, this very youthful wine is peachy and smooth, with a strong, sweet oak influence. Rich and rounded, it's a very upfront style, likely to be at its best 2013+.

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
This great value, single-vineyard, Havelock North wine is a 'full-on' style with rich, grapefruit like flavours, well seasoned with toasty American and French oak (half new) and a creamy-soft texture. The 2010 vintage is powerful and youthful. The bouquet is biscuity and oaky, with good complexity; the palate is rich, with well-ripened stone-fruit and nut flavours, good acid spine and a long finish.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage is a single-vineyard, Havelock North wine, barrel-fermented. It's a full-on style with rich, grapefruit-like flavours, well seasoned with toasty American oak, and a creamy-soft texture (100 per cent malolactic fermentation). Savoury, with good weight, concentration and complexity, it has strong drink-young appeal.
