Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
Consistently good value. A slightly sweet Gisborne style from Allied Domecq, the 2004 vintage is mouthfilling, with fresh, lively, pear and spice flavours showing good depth.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
A slightly sweet Gisborne style with citrus fruit, pear and spice flavours offering good depth, the 2002 vintage is a sharply priced wine from Montana. The 2003 is very similar, with a full, smooth palate offering slightly sweet pear and spice flavours, showing good varietal character.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The 2001 vintage is a blend of Gisborne (60 per cent) and Marlborough (40 per cent) grapes. Handled entirely in tanks, it's a clearly varietal, slightly sweet wine, full-bodied, with good balance and depth of lemon and pear-like flavours in a very easy-drinking style. The 2002 , grown in Gisborne, again shows good varietal definition, with citrus fruit, spice and pear aromas and flavours in a clean, slightly sweet style with pleasing depth
