James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Appealing stone fruit, melon and a touch of citrus supported by grainy minerally acidity.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Nicely balanced; ripe stone fruit and subtle oak; ageing well and good value.

James Halliday (2000 Vintage) says
Medium to full yellow-green; a massively and spectacularly intense bouquet and palate, with outstanding complexity. At its peak now, and, although it may hold it, there is surely nothing more to be found in the wine. Gold medal 2002 Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia.

Ray Jordan (2000 Vintage) says
You get plenty for your buck in here. A ripe and full-bodied chardonnay with stacks of powerful ripe melon character on the nose with a creamy white peach aroma emerging. The palate is all ripe melon and fresh fruit with perhaps the faintest hint of oak. An extra year in the bottle has pulled this together nicely

James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Very light green-yellow; the bouquet is light, with some slight creamy/biscuity notes but not overmuch fruit. The palate is slightly tart; any shortcomings in the wine stem from the grapes rather than the winemaking
