Crawford River Museum Release Riesling

Cracka Review

A very tightly structured wine, the colour is very pale green/gold and the nose is intensely minerally and subtly aromatic.

Poised and restrained, the palate is beautifully fine with steely, racy acidity seamlessly in tune with its soft, round mouthful of stoney minerality, spice and a whiff of fresh lime. It's better drunk only slightly chilled and will continue to mature gracefully with careful cellaring.

James Halliday (1997 Vintage) says
Light, vibrant green-yellow; the bouquet is still tight, with the first hint of toast starting to appear; a supremely elegant palate, with a fine, lingering, dry finish; great style, and still has years of life in front of it. A special cellar re-release
