Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
This is regularly one of the best sub-$20 Pinot Noirs on the market. Grown in Hawke's Bay and oak-aged for over a year, the 1998 vintage is a sturdy, firmly structured wine with ripe fruit characters, good depth of cherryish, spicy flavour, some complexity and positive tannins. Still youthful, it should reward cellaring; open 2000+.
