Crossroads Classic Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
Up to and including the 1999 vintage, this consistently attractive wine was labelled as Crossroads Hawke's Bay Chardonnay. Balanced for easy drinking, the half tank, half barrel-fermented 2000 vintage is pale straw, with a slightly cheesy bouquet. The palate is fresh, forward and flavoursome, with peachy, citrusy characters and a well-rounded finish. The 2001 is mouthfilling, with good depth of stone-fruit flavours and a fresh, dryish, distinctly crisp finish
