Daniel Dampt up the anti in this A-typical premium Chablis. On first sniff it might seem a bit 'funky', but persevere and give it some air as you shall be rewarded. Delicate aromas of honeysuckle and jasmine waft out of the glass, together with lemon citrus. The palate is quite steely and citrusy with an almost seashell character, which may seem like rubbish, but it is quite typical in Chablis. The finish is very dry, zingy and refreshing, and will match well with grilled white fish in a butter sauce.
Daniel Dampt Reviews and Accolades
‘Here too there is some pre-bottling sulfur that knocks down the nose of citrus and tidal pool aromas somewhat. There is good verve and punch however to the rich, delicious, well-detailed and refined flavors that culminate in an admirably pure, tangy and cool finish. While a bit awkward today, this should be lovely in time. 92 Points - Drink 2014. Burghound.com
