Daniel Dampt wines spent the past 150-years making wine in Chablis, so they should have a pretty good idea what they are doing by now. This wine is an introduction to the estate, and is pure unadulterated fruit with no winemaker tricks, or oak. It displays delicate apples and pears on the nose with a lemony twist, whilst the palate is crisp and bone dry, with a highly citrusy acid line that frolics in the mouth before a minerally textured finish.
Daniel Dampt Reviews and Accolades
Outstanding Top Value: ‘A very fresh nose offers up floral and citrus scents that complement the equally citrus-infused, round and fleshy middle weight flavors that possess a racy, dry and saline-infused finish. Lovely for what this is.’ 88 Points - Drink 2014+. Burghound.com
